Wood Firing Opportunity 기회를 발사 하는 나무

I just found out that there is a new wood firing in a couple of months. The firing will take place where the 2011 Maskabal workshop was held in a huge noborigama. There is a little room in the back of the kiln. If there is enough, I may take some of my 2011 vacation in January when the firing will take place. I really love that kiln. It is an absolute beast. It burns massive amounts of wood. So, it takes a lot of people to fire it successfully. There is one small thing that I don't like about it. It is mainly a glaze firing. It doesn't produce the woodfire effects that are evident in most of the work that I post. Still, it is wood firing and I can't stay away. I am a wood firer. It is that simple.
