I need to say that I was very impressed with the personel from Osan Airforce base. As I walked around Songtan, I saw many families with small children. I also saw many groups of young airmen walking around having fun. I got to talk with several of these fine men and women and I feel good about the state of our military. I also received help locating some items that I needed to purchase. This is one of the reasons that I will stay in Songtan again. While it would be nice to stay closer to Seoul, I think the tradeoff is worth it.

My nephew was stationed Osan Airforce base 2 years ago. He is now completing his 2 years of duty in Germany. I was glad to recently hear that he is going back to Osan again. He will be there during my vacation. I hope to be able to spend a little time with him.
