New Versus Old Bottle Form 오래 된 병 양식 대 새

Earlier this year I decided to change my bottle form from one with a long neck to a stockier look. I thought it would be a good idea to create more of a masculine form.I added a couple pounds of clay to make it a bit larger. I also changed from my usual white stoneware to a porcelain. Now, I'm changing back to my old form. For some reason, the new bottles just don't appeal to me anymore.

I've decided to fire about 40 of the bottle in copper red. I need to get them fired to clear up some shelf room for some handmade pieces and a few more of the other bottle form. I plan on woodfiring them next Summer at Northern Arizona University. For 4 out of the last 5 years I've taken the Summer woodfire workshop. We fire 5 to 10 wood kiln loads in the 2 week class. I take a pickup truck load to class every year. It more than fulfills my yearly wood firing desire. I can't wait. I missed it this year.
