My Favorite Restaurant In South Korea 한국에서 내 좋아하는 레스토랑

The best place that I found to eat was in Songtan, South Korea. I ate some really fancy meals with some big groups. The food and the companionship were great. Still, I liked this little Korean food place the best. I guess that I ate dinner here about 5 times. The place is run by an older Korean lady that is always smiling. For some reason, I never saw anyone else in the restaurant. It might be that I was eating late, around 8 or 9 at night. The first time that I went into the restaurant, I pointed at a picture on the wall. We both sort of nodded our heads and I sat down. Honestly, I had no idea what I was going to be eating.

First, she brought me about 7 or 8 side dishes and a bowl of rice. She also brought me a pitcher of water. As I started eating the sides, I could see her heating up a big pot in the kitchen. Eventually, she brought my main course. It was boiled chicken soup with cabbage. The chicken was still on the bone. The soup was really spicy. Everything that she served was delicious. It was definitely some of the best food that I ate on my trip.

I guess that she thought that I liked the meal so much, which I did, that she served me the same thing everytime I ate there. I tried to order something else, but unfortunately she doesn't speak any English. However, I have no complaints. Her cooking is great. If she cooks it, I'll eat it. There are 2 prices in the restaurant. One is 7000 Won and  one is 9000 Won. That is around $7 to $8 US. I think one person is 7000 Won. That's what I paid anyway.

Here's how you get to the restaurant. From the Songtan bus station, walk towards the Osan Airforce Base. You walk over the bridge that goes over the subway tracks. At the top of the bridge is a set of stairs with a green cover on top. Take those stairs. The place is just to the right when you exit the stairs.
