Pottery Paddle Patterns 도자기 패드 형 패턴

Just making up the title was worth this post. I'm finished burning in the designs on my new pottery paddles. I still have to carve out the burned areas and them sand them down. I am also thinking of wrapping cord around the handles. We'll see about that.

I wasn't sure how to come up with the designs. I do admit to borrowing one. The others I just made up. I do know that the patterns aren't all that uncommon. Still, they are my paddles which I will use to make my own distinct marks. After I get done making these paddles, I want to make some plaster molds and create some stamps. I'm designing the stamps now. I am mostly going to use flower designs on my pottery.

I also own 2 paddles that I bought years ago. I don't think I ever used them. They both have a rectangular pattern. Almost every paddle that I've ever seen has this pattern. This is why I want to make my own.
