Shiny Wood Fired Bottle 반짝이 나무 병 해

This bottle was fired in one of the large anagamas at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. We usually fire this kiln for 5 to 7 days. The kiln produces some amazing pots in all areas of the kiln. I think this bottle was placed in the middle of the kiln or maybe even a little further back, closer to the chimney. Due to the side stoking ports, there is good ash accumulation throughout the kiln. The bottle is shiny. This indicates that it cooled quickly. It may have been near a side stoke hole that wasn't sealed very well.

I like this bottle. It's not great, but it is unique, like all wood fired pots. There is one thing that I do not like about it though. I do not like it when someone places the clay wads in the shape of a face on my pots. You can see the marks in the last photo.
