Here is another observation of mine. This is what I experienced. Your experience may be different. In America, everyone walks to the right. Whether on a sidewalk or going up a set of stairs, you always stay to the right. I would guess that 90 to 95% of people do this. In South Korea, everyone just walks wherever they want to. About half of the people walk on the right and about half walk on the left. There is no set way of doing things. A person's goal is to get somewhere, as fast as possible. It took me awhile to adjust to this. It is purely a cultural difference. It really has no meaning. Neither way is good or bad. We just do things differently.
