Curved Flash Bottle 곡선된 플래시 병

This bottle was fired in an anagama. Unlike most of my bottles, it was fired standing up. That means it was fired on the top shelf. I like the top shelf in a wood kiln. The ash rises with the flame and gases that are released when the wood burns. You can get some really nice combinations of ash build up and flashing. The patterns on this bottle are nice. The pattern of the flashing indicates that is was probably directly behind another large pot. It also has some carbon trapping. It may have been close to a side stoke hole and there was a buildup of ash around the foot of the pot. There is also some nice crystal growth. It is probably a kiln that we sprayed potassium carbonate on the wood that we stoked.
