One of the potters that I've fired with for 3 Summers is Candice. Candice makes beautiful pottery. No matter how long I work with clay, I'll never be as good as her. A couple years ago, she made a set of plates and bowls as a wedding gift. They all had an iron oxide flying bird on them. They were gorgeous.

This is one of the bowls that received a little too much ash and heat. The decal ran a lot. I still think think it is beautiful, but I'm ot sure if the bride had the same thought.
