Twin Island Bottle 쌍둥이 섬 병

I love this bottle. This is the way that wood fired pottery should look. The flash pattern that curves between the 2 wad marks is unique. The bottle was not glazed before it was put in the kiln. The color comes from the wood that was burned. There are lots of crystals that are suspended in the glaze. This is due to slow cooling. This bottle was not reduction cooled like most of my work. While I prefer reduction cooled pots, I'll take more pots like this.
