I'm not a fan of glazing wood fired pots. It does have its uses though. Certain kilns, like noborigamas and wood soda kilns, almost require the work to be glazed for best results. Also, a liner glaze on the inside of a bowl or cup is also a good idea. Other than that, I have no use for glaze in a wood kiln. However, I do respect other people's love of wood fired glazed pottery.

I can't remember who glazed these pots. I do remember asking which glaze or combination of glazes they used. Unfortunately, it was one of those happy accidents and will probably never be duplicated again. That's too bad.
