Tara Wilson, Part 2- Potter 타라 윌슨, 파트 2 - 포터

This is a continuation of my previous post. I guess this is a thank you to Tara for giving me the inspiration to be a wood fired potter. Now, I want to talk a little about her abilities as a potter. I watched her demo at the Archie Bray workshop. She does more than throw a vessel. She makes art. The curves on her pieces flow. She is one of those potters whose work you recognize immediately. There is a reason for that. She is very, very good.

The pitchers that she makes are probably her signature pieces. She makes a tall and a shorter version of this form.

Here is Tara with one of her cups. I actually have one of these. One of her cups became attached to one of my pots during a firing. I was able to buy it off her.
