Wongaksa Pagoda In Tapgol Park 원각사 탑에서 탑 골 공원

The is one of South Korea's national treasures. It is truly awe inspiring. I am not exactly sure why the Wongaksa Pagoda is encased in glass. It may be that it is undergoing restoration or it is a protective environment. I did see a couple other historical monuments that were also encased in glass. Personally, I do not know the significance of the pagodas, but I would like to learn.
