Bicycles On The Seoul Subways 서울 지하철에 자전거

Bicycles are allowed on the Seoul subways. I saw a few people either on the subway or waiting in a special area. At the area where the subway stops there are markings that tell you which car you will get on. There are also symbols for handicapped and spots for the elderly. I think there is one car that has a space for bicycles in the rear of it with no seats.

The main problem would be carrying the bicycle up and down the stairs to the subway tracks. Someone solved this problem by building a small track for the bicycle wheels to roll down. I think this is clever. This may be common in other areas around the world but it is the first time that I have seen it.
