Burger King In South Korea 버거킹 대한민국

You can find most of the major fast food chains in the big cities of South Korea. Here is a couple of photos outside a Burger King. The hamburger looks just a burger from one of the American Burger Kings. However, they have named the burger with Korean words. The price of 4,400 Won is equal to about $4.00 US. I think that is for a small combo but it might be for just the burger. One big difference is that it looks like the combo has a burger, fries, cola, and best of all, an ice cream cone! I don't eat burgers but the free ice cream would definitely tempt me. The other photo shows some type of special Korean sauce that is used on some burgers. I did not go inside because I do not want to eat American fast food when I am in South Korea.

South Korea has Kentucky Fried Chicken and Popeye's Chicken. I eat at Popeye's a few times a year. I always eat their spicy chicken strips. I was shocked when I learned that they do not sell spicy chicken strips in South Korea. I have no idea why. There are way too many McDonalds and Starbucks to count. There are Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts and lots of other American food restaurants. They also have some mid range and upper scale American restaurants in the big cities.
