My Luggage For My South Korean Trip 나의 한국 여행에 대 한 내 짐

In 2011, I took 2 suitcases and a carryon  to South Korea. It was so difficult to move the luggage between the hotels that I stayed. Carrying all of the luggage on the subways and buses was very difficult. This year I only took one suitcase and a large camera bag that I used as a carryon. In 2012, the airline had increase the cost of the second checked bag to either $70 US or $100 US. The year before it was free. I had a much easier time carrying my luggage around South Korea.

I packed really smart this year. I wore every piece of clothing that I took. I found that I could wash my clothes in my room and they would hang dry before the next day. This was important on a 3 week trip. If you are a small person, you can buy some really nice clothes cheaply in South Korea. That would really save space. I think if I go back to South Korea I will be able to pack even less and still be comfortable.

I am a big fan of Samsonite luggage. I am not a fan of the high prices that they charge. I can buy Samsonite luggage very cheaply at the Burlington Coat Factory near my house. Both the carryon and the full size bag are under $100 US. I am sure that they are seconds but I have never found any noticeable flaws. At almost every other store they are at least $300 and most times much more.

I took my Canon 7D and some lenses to on my trip. So one of my main goals was to protect them. I have a really nice, padded Tamrac bag that also has enough space to carry my other essentials like my medicine and paperwork. Also, the bag has a compartment in the back to put a laptop or an Ipad. Overall, I am very happy with the luggage that I took to South Korea.
