I cannot stress enough to bring your own sandals when you travel to South Korea. All of the sandals that I have seen in South Korean hotels were very small. There are usually 2 sets of floor slippers and 2 sets of bathroom slippers in every room. Even though you are alone in your room, you should wear sandals or at least just wear your socks. It is very disrespectful to wear your street shoes inside a residence and in some public areas. It is sort of hard for an American to explain this, but it is very important.
