Seoul Emergency Drills 서울 비상 훈련

During the Chuseok holiday, there weren't many people in the city of Seoul. A lot of the residents had went out of town. This gave the firemen and other emergency services time to work on some of their life saving skills. In these photos you can see the fire department practicing at a tall building. I watched the firemen use their ladder trucks and saw them carrying heavy hoses and other pieces of equipment into the building. I especially enjoyed watching some of the firemen drop from the top of the building from ropes and descend to the ground. I am thankful to these brave men and women who gave up time with their families to practice their life saving skills.
