Jongno Tower In Seoul 서울에서 종로 타워

Jongno Tower is easily the most recognized building in Seoul. There is no doubt when you see it. The tower is visible from as far away as Namsan Tower, on a clear day. I spent my last week in a hotel near the tower. When I was ready to go back to the hotel for the day, I simply had to look for the tower and head that way.

The tower is located on the north side of town. It is located between Cheonggyecheon Plaza and Insadong. It is located just south of the biggest palace in Seoul. All of these places are within walking distance of Jongno tower. The palace will be a long walk but it only takes a few minutes to get to Cheonggyecheon Plaza and Insadong. Hotels are pricey in the area due to all of the tourist activity. However, I stayed in a hotel for under $50 US per night. However, you must have fairly low standards if you want to stay there. Personally, all that I need is a good bed, a shower, nearby transportation, and most of all safety. I will blog about that hotel later.
