Throw Away Firing Tray 발사 트레이 멀리 던져

I fired some small vases on their sides a few years ago. The small pots were glazed with a shino. I sprinkled wood ash on top of the vases to create a wood fired effect. I liked the look and I'm surprised that I haven't done it again. Here is a photo of the vases after the firing.

I thought that the firing trays would be useless and should be thrown away. After I looked at the trays, I liked the way they looked and saved them. The trays have the marks from the clay that was used to suspend the vases during the firing. They have the green color from the ash that was added to the vases. I could see that this could the inspiration to create some really nice serving trays. I would make some small changes, but this idea holds promise.
