I seemed to one of only a couple of people who did their homework. I was able to do at least 80% of the work by myself. I had to use the computer translator on a few pages. I even volunteered a few answers. It's nice not to be totally lost.
Last week, we studied the two sets of Korean numbers. They have a set of numbers that are called Native or Pure Korean numbers. They also have a set of numbers called Sino Korean numbers. The fun part is that you use one set of numbers for some things and the other set of numbers for the rest. An example would be that you use the Native Korean numbers for hours and Sino Korean numbers for minutes and seconds when you tell the time.
We also learned about counting classifiers. You use these with a number. They tell what type of object the thing that you are counting. We also learned some fruit and vegetable names. Plus other fun stuff. That is assuming the other stuff was fun. The important part is that everyone who is sticking with class is making progress. Sometimes it seems like the progress is way too slow though. I hope everyone will continue coming to class. We have a really good group now.
