Third Day Of Intermediate Korean Class 중급 한국어 클래스의 셋째 날

There were some major changes during the third day of Korean class. Evidently, several people must have complained that the material that we were studying was too advanced for this class. I do agree. I probably should have said something to the teacher or school myself. The problem seems to be that our Beginner Korean class only covered 6 chapters of the Dynamic Korean Workbook 1. We skipped over the last 6 chapters when we started the Intermediate Korean class. We needed the knowledge from those last 6 chapters to be able to work in the Dynamic Korean Workbook 2. I admit that I was completely lost and unable to complete my assignments.

Our assignment from the second week was to work on weather, Korean holidays, and the days of the days and names of the months. Unfortunately, we didn't even look at our homework in class since we went back to our level 1 workbook. It is a little disappointing to spend time doing homework needlessly.

I did find out some information that made me feel good. I was wondering why everyone seems to know more Korean than me. I was told that most of the class has taken the Intermediate Korean class multiple times. I don't feel so old now. There are also students who are Korean and speak fairly well. There are also people married to Koreans and those who taught English in South Korea. Now I'll just measure my own progress instead of comparing my knowledge to everyone else in the class. That's what I should have done in the first place.
