Houston: 1/9/16 Photos Baldwin Park

Baldwin Park is one of those places that I would have never known about if it wasn't for my renewed interest in photography. It is beautiful and full of magnificent live oak trees. These trees look to be hundreds of years old. Some of the branches are over 3 feet in diameter. Theses trees are HUGE!

Not that long ago, the Baldwin Park area was in decay. However, some property speculators must have come in and bought several old homes and abandoned lots. Then, they built some yuppy condos. After that, property taxes soared and more properties were taken over. Most of the areas near downtown Houston have undergone this process. I am divided on whether this is a positive thing or not. I guess it all comes down to the individual.
