Houston: 1/13/16 Herman park

One of our favorite places to relax at in Houston is Herman Park. I originally went to the park today to visit the Japanese Gardens for the first time. Unfortunately, the gardens are under construction. I noticed the sign that said the project was worth $1,300,000. I hope they do a good job with those funds. The park has an outdoor theatre where they produce free concerts, play, and lots of other performances. The next performance is a Chinese drum group. Across the street is the Museum of Natural Science. It is also the location of the Houston zoo and lots of other places. You could easily spend a half day there.
