I have a feeling that the title of this post will be my most unique. As I get ready for my trip to South Korea, I have little time to post. However, I am committed to posting every day, if possible. I fired a kiln with a potter who also made large artistic dolls. She wood fired some of her doll parts. It is definitely odd to open the kiln and see a little doll hand reaching up. While the cast porcelain didn't react in the fire as well as hoped, I am sure that she was able make some very interesting art with the parts.
