There is a song that most American school children learn when they first attend school. It is the "I'm A Little Teapot" song. It really relates to us grownup potters. I can't tell you how many times I've seen someone do the little teapot pose down by the wood kiln. The truth be known, I've done it myself. Fortunately, there is no photographic evidence that I know of.

Here is the song:

I'm a little teapot,
Short and stout,
Here is my handle (one hand on hip),
Here is my spout (other arm out with elbow and wrist bent),
When I get all steamed up,
Hear me shout,
Tip me over and pour me out! (lean over toward spout)
