I had a bad fall when I was taking a shower at the Ace Motel. I was squatting down while showering because the tub didn't have a shower curtain. Most Koreans spray water all over the rooms as they shower. The bathrooms are designed for this. I can't get used to that. The back of the tub was angled and I stepped backwards and I fell and hit my head on the back wall and also on the edge of the tub. I was in shock and I was afraid to move. I feel very fortunate that I was not seriously injured during the fall. It is a little scary to think of having to go to a hospital in a foreign country where you don't speak the language or even know where the hospitals are.
