The Long Walk Into Seoraksan National Park, Part 1 긴 산책에 설악산 국립공원, 제 1 부

I made a little mistake on my trip to Seoraksan National Park. Since it was my first time, I was not sure when I was supposed to get off. There were about dozen people on the bus that I got on near the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal. I got on the bus with two young Korean men that were about 20 years old.
Both of them had a backpack and hiking gear on. I assumed that they would get off the bus at the park.

When they got off, so did I. Almost immediately I realized that I made a mistake. The two hikers had gotten off the bus about 2 miles before the park, I would later find out. I tried to keep up, but they were in really good shape and they were out of my sight in just a few minutes. Occasionally, I would stop along the road and take a few photos. By the time that I got to the park, I was already tired. Little did I know how easy that walk was, compared with the hike up Ulsan Bawi.
