Beomeosa Temple Buildings 범어사 사원 건물

One of the highlights of my travels to South Korea was Beomeosa Temple. The temple is located near Busan. I got to tour the temple with a friend that I met while hiking. He worships at the temple regularly and told me the history and meaning of everything that I was curious about. I got to meet several of the monks and volunteers at the temple. One of the people that I met was a 90 year old woman who was overjoyed to meet me after she heard the story about how I got there. I enjoyed talking with her and I feel that she felt the same way.

Here are a few photos of the main temple buildings. There are several others located near these. The temple also has a temple stay program. If I go back to South Korea, I will stay at this temple for a day or two.
