2013 Summer Wood Firing Workshop 2013 여름 나무 발사 워크샵

I will be staying away from South Korea this year. I have decided to return to my favorite place on earth, Northern Arizona University. I attended the Summer wood firing class for 4 years from 2007 to 2010. I missed it the 2 years that I went to South Korea.

During the 2 week workshop, we fire somewhere between 5 and 10 full kiln loads of pottery. We have fired as long as 5 days in one firing. Most firings are around 3 days. There are usually around 15 people in the workshop. We fire train kilns, catenary kilns, anagamas, and we have a new switch back kiln that I am looking forward to firing. After the workshop, I have an entire truck bed full of pottery to bring back to Texas. So, I will be posting a lot more pottery pictures as I return to my studio in another week or two.
