It is easy to find a wifi connection is South Korea, especially Seoul. I plan to to make better use of my time on the subways by getting online during my trips, IF I can get a seat. That is no easy task. I also plan on keeping in touch a little better this year. I'm hoping the maps on the Ipad will actually be better than all of the paper ones that I have now. However, I have doubts on this.
Last year, I only had around 32 songs on my Ipod Touch. I knew every note in every song before my vacation was up. This year I should have a few hundred songs. I can also watch Korean television or Youtube when I want to. I also like the camera feature on the Ipad. I don't like to be annoying with my regular camera. However, I would like a few photos of the inside of the subway cars. There are a few interesting things going on in there. This is especially true of people sleeping and the push cart sock salesmen.
I am really hoping that the new Ipad lives up to its reputation and will make it a little easier to get around South Korea and help me communicate with the people that I meet.
