My room was on the fourth floor. In Korea, the number 4 is similar to the number 13 in the United States. It is considered unlucky. The reason for this is the name for 4 is sa. Sa is the chinese word for death. At least this is what I have been told. In the United States there are many buildings with no 13th floor. The floor numbers go, 11, 12, 14, 15 and so on. In this hotel the letter F was substituted for the number 4.

This hotel has the standard light switch that you put your rook key in to complete the circuit. When you and take the key out, the power in the room is turned off. This is a pretty way of making sure that all of the lights are turned off when the hotel guest leave for awhile.

The room is supplied with a pair of robes. I never wore any of the robes in my hotels. I have my own clothes and who knows when these were last washed. I tried to wear the slippers but the average shoe size for the Korean people is a lot smaller than my 11 1/2's.

The bed was nice and hard, just the way I like them. I found all of the hotel beds in South Korea hard. The sheets and comforter were nice and soft. I even had a little couch at the foot of the bed to sit on while I got dressed. I can't remember what it is called, but it made me feel like a King. The room also had a couch and small table.

The room had a nice flat screen television and a lot of channels to watch. There was a computer that allowed you to get on the internet. The small refrigerator had a few drinks in it.

The room had a huge tub. I did fill it up and was going to take a bath but when I turned on the water jets, a bad smell came from the water. I emptied the tub and tried a bunch of shampoo and then refilled it a third time. It still smelled, so I took a shower.

I liked this hotel. It was definitely the nicest place I stayed at on this trip. The exception would be my friends apartment. I would stay here again, if someone else paid again.
