Intermediate Korean Class 중급 한국어 클래스

I am working on Chapter 8 in my intermediate Korean language class. We use the Dynamic Korean workbook in our class. This class is very, very hard for me. Still, I keep going to class and do my homework 7 days a week. I wish that I was much better at speaking Korean, but I have to remind myself that I have only been studying for a year. The biggest difference in this class and the others is that my teacher speaks in Korean about 95% of the time. I wasn't prepared for this at all. I think that I am getting a little better grasp of what she is saying, but not much. I do think she is a great teacher though.

This class is a little more expensive than others that I have taken. I think it cost $140 for 12 weeks. We attend class 2 hours on Wednesday afternoons and 3 hours on Saturday mornings. We usually have about 6 or 7 people on Wednesday and around 10 to 12 on Saturdays. We have a really good group of people in our class as well as the beginning Korean class that is held in the other classroom. I believe in this school so much that I provided a scholarship for the school to use. I hope that the scholarship was divided up between some of the young Korean children that attend our school. I'm hoping to find some others to contribute to the school in the future. It is hard for me to ask for donations if I'm not helping the school myself.

In late August or early September, I will start another semester at this school. That class will meet for 3 hours on Saturdays. The semester will last for 12 weeks. Also, my other school at the Korean Consulate starts up again at the same time. It is held on Wednesdays for 2 or 3 hours. Fortunately, both of the classes use the same Dynamic Korean workbook. Even though I'll miss 3 weeks while I'm in Korea, I'm hoping to learn a lot more.
